The village of Collonges is built entirely of red sandstone (which gives it part of its name), contrasting with the green of the surrounding chestnut trees and vineyards; it has been known since the 8th century through a donation from the Count of Limoges of the parish church to the Charroux monastery.

At the southern tip of Corrèze, not far from the Lot, Curemonte stretches along a ridge overlooking the Sourdoire and Maumont valleys.

Rocamadour
Rocamadour is a medieval town located in the Lot department, in the far north of the Midi-Pyrénées region. Its inhabitants are called “Amadouriens”.
Near the famous Gouffre de Padirac and the Dordogne valley, this small village is located in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park.
Built in successive tiers on a cliffside, the village is sometimes nicknamed “The City of Vertigo” because it overlooks the Alzou canyon by 150 meters. It is renowned for its breathtaking view of the surrounding region, as well as being a place of pilgrimage.
